Gig in Spain next saturday

I will be playing a dj set and also showcasing some of the newest productions from Across Digital and myself, next saturday, 24 July.
The gig is in the Youth Festival on the city of La Figuera, Cataluna, Spain.
The party starts at midnight and will go on until 6am – my Across Digital partner The Inpsyda and me will be rocking the dancefloor. I’ll let you know how it went next week – fun times, this will also give me a chance to see Barcelona, and do some work on Across Digital tracks in person with Marcus – we collaborate digitally and have never met before!!

Across Digital

A while back i spoke about my collaboration with The Inpsyda.
I can now announce that the name of this collaboration will be Across Digital and it’s purpose will be to rule the world.
Just kidding on that last part… sort of.
All joking aside, we have our first EP ready, called The Birth EP, it has 4 songs in it, but some of them have different versions, so in total we have 7 tracks. We are both very excited about this, and the global quality in the EP we feel is consistently high.
There is downtempo, techno, house, minimal and progressive influences in there, and some lovely vocals to sing along to.
And we’re already working on the second EP.
Get ready to hear about us in the near future.
Music news: collaboration!

What i’ve been up to musically is doing a collaboration with fellow artist The Inpsyda.
Very exciting stuff, we’ve got at least 4 songs going on, and you’d better stay tuned, because this is going to be massive!
Solo wise, i’ve got talks going on about releasing two other tracks, that i will announce here as soon as i can.

I will be playing on a new club that will open in Almeirim, called Kapott.
The club will have the opening night in September 12, with dj Pete tha Zouk.
I will be playing 3 days later, on the 15th, college students night, so lots of fun for sure.

There was an interesting discussion on a forum recently about wether or not you should let go of your moral principals and musical taste as a dj, and just play comercial stuff that the masses want to hear in order to get more gigs and money.
There have been many who have gone that route lately, and some people defend them, saying it’s the sensible thing to do. Parties and clubs are filled with remixes of radio-playlist pop tracks, jet-set-models-and-actors-turned-dj’s-in-a-week, and party goers who couldn’t care less what music is on.
If you know a lot of people, look good, have good PR capabilities and can wave your hands in the air like you just don’t care, you’re in for a real treat.
I for one, as you can probably guess by now, would never do this, for several reasons:
- i would not have fun doing this.
- i have a spine.
- i love music too much.
- my PR skills suck.
- i don’t wave my hands in the air when i play, i’m too concentrated on the next mix.
Colaboration with Three Faces
